Women in Wellness: Honoring Our Journey & Looking Ahead

Women in Wellness: Honoring Our Journey & Looking Ahead

As we wrap up our Women in Wellness blog series for March, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible Black and Brown women who are shaping the wellness industry. From mental health advocacy and movement to nutrition and self-care, this month has been a celebration of women dedicated to making wellness more inclusive, accessible, and affirming for our communities.

Reflecting on Our Women in Wellness Series

Throughout March, we’ve highlighted trailblazers in wellness, including:

  • Dr. Joy Harden Bradford, who is making mental health care more accessible through Therapy for Black Girls.

  • Massy Arias, Jessamyn Stanley, and Jeanette Jenkins, who are redefining fitness and movement in inclusive and empowering ways.

  • Tabitha Brown, Tracye McQuirter, and Maya Feller, who are leading the charge in intentional eating and culturally inclusive nutrition.

These women remind us that wellness isn’t a one-size-fits-all journey—it’s about finding practices that honor our individual needs, culture, and community.

Looking Ahead: April’s Focus on Seasonal Renewal

As we step into April, we shift our focus to seasonal renewal—embracing the newness of spring and the ways we can refresh our wellness routines. We’ll explore topics such as:

  • Spring Detox & Cleansing Practices – Gentle ways to reset your body and mind.

  • Building a Sustainable Skincare Routine – Tips for adjusting your skincare regimen for the warmer months.

  • Mental & Emotional Spring Cleaning – Letting go of stress and creating space for joy.
